Welcome-back-to-work gifts

I got into work this morning and found a shiny new mug and pot plant on my desk – we all got welcome-back-to-work presents.
Its a nice way of making the first day back a bit more bearable (the chocolate pastries and strong coffee helped too), especially with the not quite finished office refurb still in progress.

wow – I’m not even sure who my line manger is at the moment (they’ve not told us after our last one left) and I’m not sure that more than one person is even interested when I’m due to come back in……the idea of a welcome back gift is phenomenal!!!
